Client Services

Coming from an English Education background at South Dakota State University, Alanah decided to make a shift and follow her love of animals, pursuing a position with HRAH. We were happy to bring her onto our team in April 2022.

Alanah shares her home with three cats; Nina, Beso and Duchee. She also has a Ball Python named Ghostie. She hopes to add a dog to the fray sometime in the near future. When she is not working at the hospital, Alanah loves spending time with her daughter, reading books, watching Netflix and working on various small crafting projects.

Alanah feels that the quality care provided by our team is the most important service we offer our patients. Every animal is handled with the utmost care, attention and love. Her favorite things about working at HRAH include; the quality of care, visiting with all of the cats and dogs that come in and enjoying the company of the wonderful people she gets to work with every day.

 

Erie began working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital in 2016 bringing a joyful persona to our front desk team. Her kindness and cheerful demeanor with people and pets make her a great fit at our hospital!

Erie enjoys spending time with her dog Loki, a Poodle mix. She hopes to bring a cat into her life someday. When she is away from work, Erie enjoys working on her small business, watching movies, cooking and playing video games.

Erie feels it is so important that we have friendly doctors at HRAH and that we provide clients detailed medical records. Providing quality care for pets and helping owners have peace of mind is important. Erie enjoys her cheerful coworkers, seeing happy pets come into our hospital and cuddling the many new puppies during their visits.

 

With a background in equine science and a love of all animals, Rose joined the HRAH team in February 2023 as a Client Service Representative. Rose feels preventative care is the most important service our hospital provides to pets. Rose enjoys her co-workers, the variety of pets she sees each day and the good resources available to team members.

When she is not working, Rose enjoys traveling, attending concerts and spending quality time with family and friends. Rose hopes to bring a kitty into her life someday.

Prior to working at Hudson Road, Rose lived in Florida and Texas working with racehorses and show horses. Another fun fact? Michael Buble’ sang her “Happy Birthday” during a concert! She has seen him six times in four states and two countries!

Sheri brings a smile and experience to the HRAH team and enjoys working closely with our clients and their pets. Joining our team in 2013, Sheri immediately meshed with our team members, interacting with clients and socializing with each pet.

Sheri shares her time with her Domestic Longhair, Scamp. When she is away from the hospital, Sheri enjoys gardening (she is also our resident gardener at HRAH!), mowing the lawn and landscaping... she truly enjoys working in her yard and being outside during the warmer seasons. She does shovel snow, however, winter is not her favorite season!

Sheri always brings warmth and a friendly face to our front desk. She loves all animals and getting to know all of our clients!

Jada joined HRAH as a Client Service Representative in August 2023. Jada brings professionalism, kindness, and a love of all pets to our clients, team, and hospital. She has been a wonderful addition to Hudson Road. Jada is excited to work here and with our clients.

Jada doesn’t currently have any pets at home but she hopes to have cats in the future. For now, Jada is busy studying for her pharmacy technician degree and training in Taekwondo as a black belt!

Jada believes all services Hudson Road Animal Hospital provides are important as each client and patient have differing needs. Being able to help others, learning new things each day and seeing all the adorable animals are some of her favorite things about working at HRAH.

Veterinary Technicians

Ada joined our team in February 2016, however, she was part of HRAH even before then. Originally from Poland, Ada was new to America and wanted to learn about the veterinary community prior to working in the industry. Ada spent four months shadowing our practice until she decided Hudson Road was the place for her! We were very impressed with her skills and invited her to work with our team.

Ada completed her veterinary technician diploma through the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK in 2012. Ada also holds a degree in marine biology from the University of Gdansk in Poland.

Whenever she can, Ada enjoys traveling and looks forward to seeing more of America. She also enjoys visiting art museums and learning about American culture. Ada also enjoys spending time with her Miniature Schnauzer, Amos.


Ada enjoys her work at HRAH, spending time with clients, gaining knowledge and practicing her skills as a veterinary technician. She is also responsible for Inventory Management at HRAH.

Allie started with our team as a kennel attendant in 2019. She quickly moved into a veterinary assistant position while obtaining her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. Shortly after graduation, Allie passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination and obtained her certification as a Veterinary Technician. She is a thoughtful and compassionate team member, providing the best care to every patient.  

Allie shares her time with her cat, Lester, the best kitty in the world. She is looking forward to having a Giant Schnauzer someday and his name will be Larry.

Allie feels the flexibility and willingness to work with pets and their owners to create a comfortable visit is the most important service HRAH has to offer. Whether grooming, boarding, wellness or surgical, the love and compassion of our team shows in every visit is apparent.

Allie’s favorite things about working at HRAH include; the genuine camaraderie among the team, the ability to build relationships with clients and watching patients grow from puppies and kittens to dogs and cats.

As one of our certified veterinary technicians since June 2018, Hannah has brought her love of animals to each patient she cares for. We are fortunate she is here, bringing compassionate care to every pet that walks through our doors. Hannah graduated from Ridgewater College where she studied veterinary technology.

There is no doubt Hannah is an animal lover! She shares her home with three cats; Silas, Brian and Ham and three dogs: Trooper, Huck and Mesa. Hannah dreams of having a horse someday!

When Hannah is not working at the hospital, she enjoys taking her dogs for walks, going to the gym, reading, listening to music and doing laundry.

Hannah feels the most important service Hudson Road has to offer is the knowledge of our veterinarian team and the care they show to clients and pets. Her favorite things about HRAH include: her co- workers, working with patients and how well the team members are treated.

She feels so lucky to be a CVT at HRAH and loves coming to work every day!

Heather joined our team in 2016 and brought along a strong background in veterinary technology. She graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in 2013 with an AAS degree as a CVT. Heather has also completed her Fear Free Certification.

Heather shares her home with two cats: Cleo, a calico; and JJ, an orange tabby. She would love to adopt a shelter dog someday. Outside of work she enjoys: gardening, going on walks, reading, spending time with family and friends, trying new hobbies, cooking and baking.

Heather feels that offering preventative care and education to clients is very important for the well-being of the HRAH pets. The ability to help pets live long and happy lives along with important surgical procedures improves every pet’s quality of life.

Heather truly enjoys seeing all of the new puppies and kittens that come in for their initial visits and working with a great team of people.

Kacy joined our team in September 2011, coming to us from the University of Minnesota. Kacy graduated from Ridgewater College in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She brings experience in Emergency medicine and small animal care.

Kacy shares her time with her furry family: Three cats, Dante, Lily and Summit. In addition to caring for her pets, Kacy especially enjoys horror/suspense movies, cooking, baking and hosting dinner parties. She also spends time crocheting and taking care of her yard. She likes to keep busy!

Since joining Hudson Road Animal Hospital, Kacy has enjoyed working with her co-workers and being a part of private practice. She enjoys the interaction and having daytime hours!

Kacy is fun, outgoing and keeps our patients calm, comfortable and healthy.

Hudson Road was fortunate to bring Kelly onto our team in 2015 as a Kennel Attendant. Since that time, she has developed her role in the hospital, evolving her position as our first Veterinary Assistant. Kelly has since obtained her certification as a Veterinary Technician through Dakota County Technical College, this was an obvious fit for Kelly to grow her medical skills.

Kelly shares her time with her three pets; a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd named Makita, a Golden Retriever puppy named Stihl and her 8-year-old Tabby Cat, Willow. Hiking and walking with her pups is one of her favorite hobbies when away from HRAH. She also enjoys road tripping to new places and fixing up her home.

When we asked Kelly what she considers the most important service Hudson Road provides to our clients, she stated, "Customer service. Without good customer service our clients cannot receive good quality medical service. Building relationships with clients and their pets allow us as a whole team to provide the best care we can."

Kelly also admits she is that "Crazy Dog Lady". Clients may even see her wearing this on one of her many funny dog t-shirts!

Kelsey has been a certified veterinary technician with HRAH since August 2020 and has grown into a vital member of our medical team. After graduating from Globe University in 2016, Kelsey also became Fear Free Certified to help alleviate fear, stress and anxiety in pets.

When she is away from work, Kelsey spends her time with her own pets; Quinn, a yellow lab, her many kittens: Jasmine, Jade, Grace and Brushog, Thor, her leopard gecko and Floki & Rexy, both crested geckos. Someday, Kelsey hopes to have dart frogs as pets! Kelsey also enjoys reading, drawing, video games and gardening.

Kelsey feels there are so many important services HRAH offers because they all have important ways of helping our patients. Dental services are more important than people give them credit for because a healthy mouth can mean better health for the rest of the body.

Izzy started with HRAH in June of 2020, working with our medical team as a veterinary assistant. Izzy graduated from the veterinary technology program at Dakota County Technical College and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2023. Being a voice for those without a voice is one of Izzy’s greatest reasons for being part of the veterinary field. She feels very lucky to work with pets.

Izzy has a love of rats and shares her home with three of them! Shimmy, Linus and Lil Baby. She also has two orange cats named Oliver and Mochi. In her free time, she enjoys sewing new hammocks for her rats to lay in and creates hiding areas for them in their enclosures.

Izzy’s favorite things about working at HRAH include; building relationships with the pets, helping as much as she can and working with her teammates. Izzy feels the most important service we offer to clients and pets are wellness appointments to ensure the pet is feeling the best they can!

Veterinary Assistants

Trina is a veterinary assistant for HRAH and has worked as a kennel attendant and client service representative since 2019.  She is also working towards her animal science degree at the University of WI – River Falls with hopes to pursue an education in veterinary medicine. Trina’s love for animals is apparent and we are lucky she’s part of our team!

Trina is very fond of hedgehogs and has four at home; Pacc, Niffler, Clover and Princess Leia. She also has two dogs; Lucy and Lily. She plans to rescue more hedgehogs in the future and would also like to add a bearded dragon to her pack.

When not working, Trina enjoys spending time with her friends and her animals. She enjoys reading when she finds the time.

Trina thinks the most important service we offer is developing the DVM/Client relationship. Clients can feel more comfortable when they know the doctor they are seeing. Trina’s three favorite things about working for HRAH include: the people she works with, learning new things every day in veterinary medicine and interacting with clients and educating them about their pets.

Groomers

Brandy became a Pet Stylist with Hudson Road in 2011 and has created a grooming oasis for the pets she cares for. She spends her time, not only bathing and beautifying client pets, but creating a low-stress atmosphere for them using calming techniques and essential oils that are safe for pets and people. Brandy has over 20 years of grooming experience, working with both dogs and cats. She has even groomed guinea pigs and rabbits!

Learning new skills and educating pet owners about grooming is something Brandy loves to share! Brandy has shared her home with many pets. She currently has two leopard geckos and hopes to have another Saint Bernard one day. When she is away from work, Brandy loves riding her motorcycle as often as possible, hiking and hopes to get into snowshoeing this winter!

Working with Hudson Road, Brandy loves that we offer services for the whole health of pets. Our team work is amazing and the health of every pet is always the first priority. Brandy feels the top-notch medical care combined with boarding and grooming truly meets the needs of every pet. "We offer peace of mind for pets with health problems.".

 

Gilly joined our team in 2012 as a professional pet stylist. Having obtained one year of vet tech education already, Gilly brought not only her animal care experience to Hudson Road but also a creative mindset that continues to set our grooming services apart from all of the rest! Gilly is also a member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers (NAPCG).

In her free time, Gilly enjoys playing piano, kayaking, attending concerts, camping, biking and cooking. Mo is her 10-year-old Chihuahua x Schnauzer and someday Gilly hopes to share her home with a Saluki, Bull Terrier and possibly an English Shorthair cat.

When asked what she thinks is the most important service HRAH offers to our clients and patients, Gilly considers all of our offerings: vet care, multiple therapies such as, laser therapy and acupuncture, grooming, boarding and daycare in one place. We all share in patient care. When a groomer finds something abnormal in a pet, they can work hand in hand with the medical team to determine the best course of care for that pet. It’s a wonderful feeling to give pets the best, most compassionate care possible.

Some of Gilly's favorite things about working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital include; Seeing her regular clients come in for grooming care, working with her awesome coworkers and sharing the love and compassion for pets with every single team member at HRAH.

Kennel Attendants

Adara has been part of the HRAH team since April 2021, providing compassionate care to our boarding pets. Adara has a long-term interest in animal care and hopes to pursue a degree in the veterinary industry. She has truly developed of love of pets and that love shows in the care she provides.

Adara loves huskies and would have more huskies if she could! She shares her home with two at the moment, Kyro and Kyzer. Someday, she would hope to have a sweet cat to snuggle with too.

When she’s away from work, Adara can be found taking her dogs for long walks, training them and just hanging out. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants, shopping and attending events.

Adara loves the bonds that we create with our clients with the ability to offer so many services under one roof. Clients are able to get to know our teams and have all of their pet’s care done in one place. Adara’s favorite things about working with HRAH include; getting to take care of client pets, the ability to see all kinds of dogs and cats and working with an amazing team that makes work fun.

Alaina joined our team in October 2021 as a Kennel Attendant in our boarding facility. She brings experience working with animals and a love of pets! While she works part-time, Alaina is a full-time student at the University of WI – River Falls. She is studying pre-vet medicine with an emphasis in dairy animals.

Alaina shares her time with her eleven-year-old pug, Myla. She also works on her family’s dairy farm in La Crescent, MN. She enjoys showing, judging and fitting dairy cattle. During the fall, Alaina plays fastpitch softball and hunts.

Alaina things that our boarding department is very important to our clients and their pets. Providing a safe and caring environment where pet owners can trust that their pets are being well cared for. Alaina’s favorite things about working at HRAH include; all of her coworkers and the endless support that they offer, the positive learning environment that is always pushing her to do her best and getting to work with so many different pets and getting to know their personalities.

One more fun “Minnesotan” fact about Alaina? Her head was carved out of a 90lb block of butter at the MN State Fair!

Ashley began working with Hudson Road in the spring of 2022 while studying for her Animal Science degree at University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Ashley’s love of animals and animal care skills made her a perfect fit, working as a kennel attendant with our boarding pets.

Ashley has two dogs and a cat that keep her company when she’s at home or studying. Banana is a Shih Tzu and Ducky is a Cavalier-Cocker Spaniel Mix. Her cat is named Stitch. Ashley also enjoys spending time with friends and family, drawing and painting to unwind.

Offering boarding and medical care under one roof is very convenient and helpful to our clients and patients. Ashley feels this may be one of the most important services HRAH offers. Some of Ashley’s favorite things about working at HRAH include; the community both between coworkers and clients, the wide variety of services provided and everyone’s love for all of the pets that visit!

Briahnna was a welcomed addition to our kennel attendant team in 2022, bringing her love of animals and animal care experience to Hudson Road’s boarding pets. Briahnna works part time while working towards her Animal Science degree at University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Additionally, Briahnna is an intern at a barn where she trains and works with horses.

Briahnna enjoys spending time with her many pets; Huckleberry, Beagle Shepherd mix; Sully, her Quarter Horse; Diamond, a tabby cat; Angel, a Chihuahua MinPin mix and Star, a Border Collie.

Since starting with HRAH, Briahnna has enjoyed every moment. From the friendly people working here and the clients to the wonderful pets that come through the doors. She feels the most important service HRAH offers our clients and pets is the amazing veterinary care. Ensuring that each pet that walks through the front door has the best quality care is extremely important for both the pet and the pet parent.

 

Keara has been an integral member of the kennel team since June 2020. Her care and dedication to our boarding pets beyond compare. Keara also has obtained her Bachelors in Anthropology from the University of MN, Duluth. With her background, Keara has a good understanding of the Human-Animal Bond.

When she is at home, Keara spends her time with her wonderful kitty, Elva. Elva spends her time following Keara all around the house like a baby duckling and is Keara’s constant companion. Someday, Keara hopes to have an Irish Wolfhound. Keara enjoys reading, mostly sci-fi and fantasy but also enjoys history books and articles. Spending time outdoors and hiking on the weekends is where you may find Keara when not working.

Keara truly enjoys the relationships that are built between the pets and the team. It is easy to stay positive on the hard days with so many wonderful boarding pets. Walking into work each morning, Keara enjoys greeting each of the pets and seeing their infectious excitement at HRAH!

Kee began working with HRAH in January 2022 as a kennel attendant and has cross trained as a pet bather for our grooming team. Kee provides thoughtful, gentle care to every pet he works with and has a natural gift for animal care.

Although Kee doesn’t have any pets at home, he enjoys spending time with the animals he cares for at HRAH each day. Kee hopes to have an aquarium to fill with various fish someday!

When he is away from HRAH, Kee enjoys going for walks, recording music, watching YouTube videos, watching old sitcoms, playing video games and spending time with friends.

Kee feels the most important service our hospital can offer clients is to ensure their pets are getting proper care and medical help to keep them safe and healthy. When at work, Kee enjoys taking the boarding dogs for daily walks, bathing dogs in grooming and feeding the cats and dogs.

Kee feels extremely grateful to be working at HRAH. It’s been almost a decade long process for him to find an opportunity like this and he hopes to continue providing the best care he can to all of the pets!

 

Mackenzie joined our team as a kennel attendant in August 2022. She hopes to continue her career path with pets and attend school in the future.

Mackenzie shares her time at home with two cats, Milo and Evie; a bunny, Ila and a Chihuahua named Layla. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys taking walks and spending quality time with her family.

Mackenzie commented that offering boarding services within an animal hospital is such an important service we can offer our clients. She also enjoys how positive the team members are and really enjoys spending so much time getting to know the boarding pets in her care. If Mackenzie had anything else to share with the world, she would encourage everyone to be nice to one another!

Practice Manager

Marcy has worked with HRAH since 2008 as Practice Manager. When people ask her what this means, she says, "I help take care of the people that take care of the pets." Marcy has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years and knows this is exactly where she belongs! Marcy has degrees in Business Management and Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and currently lives in River Falls, WI with her husband Brandon, daughter Audrey and three crazy dogs, Loden, Raji and Bud.

When away from the practice, Marcy enjoys spending time with her family, running races throughout the Twin Cities, walking her dogs, shopping, travel and teaching group fitness classes in Hudson, WI. Marcy is so proud of the dedication of our team members. She enjoys watching new team members develop into thoughtful, caring and compassionate medical professionals. "We have the most compassionate team. Each day I get to be part of this amazing group of pet lovers. I couldn't ask for a better place to work!"
